October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month 💜. We were educated on alarming violence data that impacts our demographic. Subsequently, we learned proper defense techniques & had a little fun while fighting. Twenty women joined from ages 16 to 84 who are now all equipped to defend if necessary, don’t test the theory 💪🏾.

12 million people in the U.S. experience rape, physical violence, or stalking by an intimate partner each year.
1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have experienced physical violence from an intimate partner in their lifetime.
Intimate partner violence results in about 2 million injuries & nearly 1300 deaths annually in the U.S.
1 in 3 teens experience some form of dating violence.
