Finding Purpose in the Dark Seasons

Isn’t it funny how some of our most beautiful moments and depth comes from some of the most dark seasons?

I was reminded when speaking to my friend on the “Unlearnt Podcast” that pictures are created in Dark Rooms. If you expose it to the light too early, it ruins the picture. It is only after the photo is fully processed in the dark, that you get the full picture (vision). If you’re in a dark season, do not rush the dark room…hidden places. Trust that one day, you will get the picture & even if it’s not beautiful, it will be fully developed.

I enjoyed sharing with my friend the soon to be Dr. Jaquetta on some of my dark rooms, or as she calls it, the behind the curtain intermission. I’ve lived long enough to see how God does truly give beauty for ashes, we just have to sit long enough to be fully processed.

Isn’t it something that people do not have to announce when something is truly done, the evidence, production, depth i.e. maturity will speak for you?

I pray our stories help you & give hope for your now and future. Stay tuned, this is the Second Act! #theunlearntpodcast
