My childhood Pastor use to say, "what comes from the heart reaches the heart." In other words, when you operate in sincere love, it's bound to reach the heart's core of the recipient.
Vashti was the initial Queen before Esther who was unwilling to come before the King in her crown. Subsequently, she was dethroned.
I'll never forget the afternoon I had to have a vulnerable conversation. I was talking to God & was leaning towards not doing it. Until I heard so clearly, "Vashti, Keep Love Simple."
I didn't understand why He would call me the woman who was dethroned. However, I heard it again, "Vashti, keep love simple & this time bare it all."
He furthered the reason why Vashti was dethroned is because her pride or whatever the reasoning was not put to the side. His admonishment to me was to bare it all but always wear your crown.
Symbolically speaking, the crown is a reminder of who and whose you are. If you're of a certain generation, race or female, it's certain things we're taught Queens just don't do.
However, once again LOVE is breaking the rules and setting the standards. Today's lesson is, it's quite simple, just bare it all!
