There is an old saying, History repeats itself when it is unlearned.

#1. Present History. Yesterday, we discussed love as healing. This morning, I woke up hearing, "EVERYONE who encountered Jesus and asked to be healed was healed." Every single person. Many Believers overspiritualize moments, experiences or encounters especially as it pertains to healing & love God's way.
As mentioned in yesterday's HERspace Blog, love is healing & it's an intentional act that is not predicated on reciprocation.
People can discount those we serve or frequent the most. I honestly believe more healing (through love) will occur when we decide to be the encounter as opposed to looking for it to occur miraculously everytime, by happenstance or through someone else. The Father shares His love through those He created to disseminate to all others. You are the miracle in operation in History today.
Be the encounter. Share Jesus Christ and learn to Love God's Way.
#2. Past HIStory. Dare to love! Faith, Hope, and Love. The greatest of these is love (1 Corinthians 13:13). Many are hardened to loving fully, transparently or at all due to past history.
Relationships of variant kinds have created this heart condition. When Jesus was questioned on why divorces were allowed, His response was due to the hardening of their hearts. There was no mention of right or wrong, sin or no sin...just the state of the heart.
What is the lesson? Dare to love with the premise it is powerful enough to cover and protect you while simultaneously being given to others.
How? You have to love God's way. Contrary to popular opinion, there is a way to love.
Learn it.
Love corrects, love is consistent, giving, and is perpetual.
Love when done correctly will not only correct history, sometimes eliminate history but it can also rewrite History! Love God's Way will make it as though History no longer exist.
To be clear, I'm speaking of you loving others. So as you sow, you're bound to reap. If you're sowing seeds of Love God's Way, your return is certain. Give and He'll give it back to you.
One day at a time. Thusly, reconstructing your love History as you know it.
#3. The future of HIStory. What's freely received is freely given. Learn from the History of Love. The Bible, your daily experiences and accounts of others are enough of a blueprint for do's & do nots. We received true love for free as Believers from Jesus Christ.

Past: I had to rely on God, accept and fully acknowledge His love, His love for me, in order for me to release past hurts and the distorted perceptions of what I thought was love. God is so faithful!! It is truly liberating in knowing cully well just how much God loves us. It is in His grace that we are healed and then able to share His love with others. Just as He is patient with us, may we be led to be patient with others. Not as a means of being naive but in walking in His light, love and life.
