It's my 35th Birthday!!!

I want to share a few reflections with the HERspace Blog community. First, thank you all so much for the outpouring of love already. Your presence & feedback on this platform are invaluable. We are committed to helping each other GO and GROW in God.

Now, on to business...

35 years of LIFE. With everything going on in the world, I do not count it menial God granting me another year today. Nor do I discount the gifts, talents, and purpose He has placed me for on this earth. We all have gifts, talents and are here for a purpose. They are for the betterment of those He has assigned to our lives.

I'm going to keep this brief, 3.5 reflections:

#1 BREAK THE SILENCE

The enemy wants your voice. My mother has repeatedly shared that the day I was born, I came out silent. The doctor looked concerned after a swap on my bottom; I belted out a huge cry. The doctor said, "well, there is nothing wrong with her lungs." & the story continues.

I've heard all my life, you have such a big voice for a petite frame (interpret this as you wish). A music teacher once shared that my voice carries. It was not until recent years, I realized that this was/is one of my marks by God. & that initial swap on the behind was significant. The hit broke the silence.

I am God's mouthpiece. He gives me what to say, and I say it. These things have transformed into a wide array of audiences, cohort groups, cultures, businesses, ministries, books, healing, oblivion, dislikes, expansion, and this blog. But it took awhile to get here...

I often tell people when sharing a story, do not take people from the pit to the palace because that negates the process. The process is generally arduous, at times lonesome, filled with obscurity and moments of questions. The process is that hit!

# The half...PIVOT

I'm not going to share all of my story today, but I will share this. In 2013, I lost my voice. Life had gone to plan to that date...I mean everything. Degrees, money in the bank, I was graduating from law school, perfect credit score, my then man had purchased an $8,000 engagement ring (a lot for a grad student), family and friends were well. I was well on my way to fulfilling "my life" plan of husband, two kids, and my version of the white picket fence.

UNTIL...I had my first adult failure. It SHOOK me. The pits continued, engagement was off, money quickly depleted, and my circle tremendously downsized. What to do? Who am I? Did I miss something?

My line sister who knew I was over it invited me to a women's conference I did NOT want to go to, but I obliged because what else did I have to do. I must have had a "talk to me" sign on my face because everyone was in it, including the ministers. I was polite, but internally I was screaming for them to leave me alone to my internal sulk.

I'll never forget an older lady who came to me and said: God is rewriting your story. What you thought you were going to do is not exactly it. But He is going to use you tremendously in the Kingdom. You will help many people, but He wants you to know that the path has now shifted.

Ummm...shift was an UNDERSTATEMENT.

For a while, I still tried to stay on the traditional course that I desired, but I quickly realized this wasn't working. So, I PIVOTED and have been on God's path ever since.

Did you know that communication is not limited to the verbal?

I figured you all knew this :). I learned that my intentional movement in the direction that God had not called for this season was a form of SILENCE and disobedience. I want to tell you all that when I pivoted, all came back to me immediately -- money, man, mansion, and manifestation of all my hopes and dreams. That's not the way God's stories go. He majors in truths, not fairytales.

#2 ALL or NOTHING

One day, when I was talking to the Father, He said you have to make a choice. Either you're going to believe all of I've shown, trust what I've promised, or be delayed until you do.

I choose to believe, trust and wait.

Our human side typically desires immediate gratification. I gave something; you give me something back. What God has given me these past 8.5 years are His words. LOTS of them. Promises, visions, dreams, confirmations, prophecies, and more words. I wrote the chapter in a group book titled, "When is God's words enough?"

At some point, we have to accept that His word is the manifestation. Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, as it is in Heaven, be it so on the earth. The more you break your silence and say aloud what God says, His vision manifests. His words are the manifestation. It's your job to work the word (Faith without works is dead), say the word (FAITH key), and live it until it takes tangible form.

Amos 3:3 says, how can two walk together if they do not agree on the direction?

If you don't agree with Heaven, God's way, or timing, you are impeding progress. You must come into agreement to receive the promise tanbibly. The first manifestation form is in your heart. Believe and trust fully... not just part of His word but ALL of it.

#3 Choose life #LiveAgain

For a while, I was silent. Working daily, praying for others, talking plenty, but my voice was absent.

When we are not in the Perfect Will of God, His path, or method for us -- we have no voice.

I broke the silence when I decided to LIVE AGAIN. Jesus said I am the way, truth, and LIFE.

You are not living if you are not in God's way, truth, and in the design, He has chosen for your life.

Chapter 35 - I have chosen to live God's way. So, this smile, laugh, and voice will solely promote what He has said until His words take tangible form.

Break the silence! Remember our words are not tied solely to the intel or releases from our mouths. But your moves matter most. Find your voice in the King. Trust His chosen path, and His words are the manifestation.

I'll leave you with what He said for all of us:

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Revelations 12:11
