11.28.23...the date is important because this is a time sensitive and specific word. Stop reading if you find this isn't for you but please share with someone who may need it.
Yesterday morning, the Father told me as I enter into a silence fast He would begin speaking to me. & I should do whatever He told me. As a result of my hearing His word, my vision would be made clearer (keen). I was thinking how does hearing make vision clear. It's like turning down the radio to see where you're going. I understood that God was up to something and it's spiritual.
Demonstration
Later in the day, I went to the DMV for an address change & other business. While there, I found out I had to do a vision test 🙃. I DO NOT like those things. They have to be rigged. Nonetheless, I told her my glasses were in the car and I'd be back. I was concerned because I knew my prescription needed to be increased & I used them before & it didn't go well. I asked the Lord to "please touch my eyes because I wanted a cute license picture today." When I went to retrieve the glasses, He began to speak to me. He said when I go back in, say nothing. Put the glasses on and say what you see. Obviously not catching the point, I asked God, is she going to give me a new license picture? I look cute today on purpose. I saw Yes and a vision of her giving me a license.
If you're an avid HERspace reader then you know when God gives insight, He gives access. It's yours! Take it. Possess (Joshua 18:3).
Inside, I did as He said but realized I couldn't really see with the glasses on. I began to walk away from the test like "I cannot see that." & the woman said in an authoritative tone, READ the first line. I did. She said, there are no letters, only numbers, "look again." [Insert 🤣]. I looked again and it was a little clearer. I didn't realize I had gotten the first block correct until she said it, & she told me to read the 2nd block. In short, she told me multiple times to "look again" & each time, the numbers became clearer. The last stanza, I heard the Lord tell me what the numbers were because I didn't see them fully. In short, I passed the vision test and received my cute license picture. & I thanked God for answering my prayer. More importantly, from relationship with Him, I understood I didn't pass this test solely because the Lord wanted me to have a license picture I like. However,
the Lord was showing (giving insight) me something.
*Caveat
Please have no fear, I'm making my appointment for the glasses prescription increase shortly. 😎
The Lesson
This morning, I woke up hearing, "It's not you." I began to release concerns over to the Lord in prayer and began to meditate on verses where the Word said, "Look Again." There are at least 15 accounts I reviewed. However, below I'm highlighting three to illustrate His point.
FIRST, read 1 Kings 18:41-45. As a synopsis, the land had experienced a drought. However, Prophet Elijah HEARD the sound of rain. He sent his servant several times to ask, what did he see? The servant responded, I see nothing. & Elijah said, go again. It took seven attempts before he saw "a small cloud." To which he told the servant to "Prepare" before the rain stops him.
The lesson: look again on what you have heard from the Lord. In this chapter, Elijah bowed down & then gave his servant instructions. What was or wasn't said in this reverent stance between Elijah and the Lord, isn't written. However, what is written is the results. Rain! I believe it didn't matter how many times the servant came back and saw nothing, Elijah was going to tell him to "look again" until he did because he heard something.
What have you heard but don't yet see? Those are promises that are yes and amen from the Lord. Go back and look again.
"Look again..."
Notice when the servant finally saw something, it was small but it was something. Don't discount the small somethings, look again. & when you do see, don't tarry. Run with the vision, it is sure to preform.
That finite cloud was enough to let Elijah know, it's time to run the Lord is up to something and He promised me. This reminded me of my real estate process. We kept going back until we received what the Lord said. I really didn't care how many "no's" or this will never happen or has never happen. The Lord's promise was clear & He spoke of the house in a certain way, & I wanted nothing less than what He said.
Go back, look again.
While you're looking, READ Jeremiah 1:4-12. This is the second point, the "word" of the Lord came to Jeremiah. Notice that God's word brings clarity. It provides vision. It tells you where to go. If you need clarity, direction, and/or vision, revisit Bethel. Saturate, meditate and read God's Word. His word provides insight and grants access.
In this chapter, the Lord told Jeremiah to tell him what he saw.
Jeremiah 1:12 NKJV
[12] Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.”
The Lord Shall Perform.
Let this be your pronouncement today. "The Lord Shall Perform."
Somewhere along the way, we have created misconceptions and exalted our insecurities above God's word. After His word comes and He provides insight, you have access to SEE (His vision).
I shared at the start of this HERspace Blog, the Lord said to me, "it's not you, it's Him." The latter was the remainder of the sentence.
As Believers, our responsibility is to Believe. Not configure. If God said abundance, store. If He says wealth, share. If He says buy and possess, do it NOW, not later. All we have to do is believe God. That is our greatest contribution. All things are possible to those who believe God (Mark 9:23).
Lastly, READ Mark 8:22-25. When you "look again" and if you still don't see it, look up!
In this chapter, a blind man desired to see. Jesus touched his eyes & asked, what did he see. His response indicated his vision was there but distorted. What happened next was profound to me:
Mark 8:25 NKJV
[25] Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly.
Jesus placed His hands on His eyes and said, Look Up. Why? From a natural standpoint, if this was the daytime, the sun could have been shining further complicating the blind man's situation. If he was trying to see, why not tell him to look at the people that were around him first. Rhetorical question.
I believe the spiritual precedes the natural. He needed to look up because the Father was the one performing. When he looked again, the Bible called him "restored." Which means: to receive back more than has been lost to the point where the final state is greater than the original condition.
He was blind but now he sees.
I woke up yesterday morning hearing the lyrics, Amazing Grace. I'll leave the lyrics to close out this November blog below.
As a recap:
1) Look again. Whatever you have heard the Lord promise, look (expect) until you see something. No matter how small, run with it. Prepare for it, for the Lord has promised you.
2) Understand that the responsibility for the Vision Performance is "on God" as my students say. All you have to do is believe what He has said and shown you.
3) Finally, after you've looked & look again, IF you still don't see or not seeing clearly, LOOK UP. There will be a performance from the Lord.
I kept hearing "November end." The Lord has promised you something. At the end of the year, many begin to discount the present day & what's possible in the current year. Vision party planning begin & the out with the old, in with the new commences. Don't do this. Look again at what the Lord has promised for this year, your now.
This may not be for all readers but for whomever it is for, grab hold, trust God, and look again!
Thank God for His grace that allows us to look again & this time see. We were once blind but now we see. This is a prophetic call, I typically stray from using those words because of the connotations people erroneously have, but I have to call it as I see and hear it. This is a specific word for specific ones. I'm really interested in hearing what you see. Please share in the comments.
Amazing Grace
Amazing grace! how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch; like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!
The Lord hath promised good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures.
When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we first begun.
Testimony time!
To make a long story short, there were 3 vacancies to be filled, while I interviewed for 2, they announced that 2 were then closed. I was the last one there waiting and the same woman that told me I was not eligible previously, told me that they are offering me the position. Do I accept or decline? Whoa! I start Jan 8, 2024, a day before my birthday🥲🙌🏽 Glory be to God!!
What a timely word!!! Thanks for yielding to God and thanks for sharing with us. It's so relevant for my now. I have several things before me that requires me to look again as well as look up. This is a true blessing to me today. I couldn't wait for a quiet time to read this because I trust the On Time God to send what is needed when it is needed. I'll be back with the praise report!!! Thanks, again, dear sister.
So good!! Thank God for your voice🙌🏾❤️
Thank you Sister Ebony, I have been sitting with all of your posts and this one surely grabs my attention. I have an upcoming hiring pool this Thursday, it is within a City wide organization, one in which I had to take exams for, which I did and have been waiting for years to hear from. Backtrack, this past summer I had interviewed with 2 other positions, 1 was through my dept, the other was with another organization. Although those doors were not opened, I wrestled with the why. Yet I know it is His timing, not mine. Now I have this opportunity presenting itself and Ive been trying to see how God speaks. Ive been on my current j…
